Certifications is a feature for registering and managing external certifications obtained by Members (such as national qualifications, licenses, and certificates of completion). It operates independently from skills, but follows the same approval flow, and EXP is combined.
Centralized Management with Three Features
- Application-based management…Register the certification number, date of acquisition, and Expires At, and submit with an image of the certificate
- Automatic expiration determination…Certifications within 90 days of the Expires At are flagged as "Expiring Soon," and those past the date are flagged as "Expired"
- Notifications…Notifications are sent for applications, approvals, rejections, Expiring Soon, and Expired statuses
Decide What to Register
Here are some considerations when identifying certifications to register.
- Certifications requiring renewal…Certifications with an Expires At have a high priority, as expiration management provides significant value
- Certifications used for placement decisions…If certain tasks require a specific certification, it is valuable to be able to view who holds it in the Skill Map
- Certifications you want to consolidate…Licenses and certificates of completion that Members currently keep on paper can be consolidated in the system
Difficulty and EXP
A difficulty level (1–5) is set for each certification. The EXP awarded upon acquisition is determined by the difficulty level. For renewal application approvals, 30% of the EXP awarded for initial acquisition is granted.
Organizing with Tags
You can organize certifications by adding tags. As the number of certifications grows, finding them in the list becomes more difficult, so it is useful to define tags by category, department, or similar criteria.
Settings Can Be Configured by Operation Admin
Only Operation Admin Users can access Certification Settings. System Admin Users cannot configure these settings.
