Learners progress through skill learning in the Teachme Player app. This article summarizes the flow from attempting a skill to acquiring it.

Overview

Select a skill of interest from the skills assigned to you, and you can start learning by clicking "Try." Progress through the Curriculum for each level (manuals, Comprehension tests, and External links), and when you meet the achievement conditions, your level goes up.

Skill Status

Not attempted…A skill you have not yet tried
In progress…A skill you have started attempting. Displayed as "Lv.○ In Progress"
Acquired…A skill for which you have met the achievement conditions and gained the level

The Skills list can be filtered by All / Not attempted / In progress / Acquired. The list displays your current level, maximum level, difficulty, and skill Folder Name.

How to Level Up

Skills have levels assigned to them (maximum 4). Each level has defined achievement conditions, and by default they are as follows.

Lv.1…Once you complete all the Curriculum for that level, you can acquire it on your own
Lv.2 and above…After meeting the achievement conditions, you submit an Approval request to an approver

The level conditions may vary per skill. Please check the achievement conditions on the Skill Details screen here.

Levels must be met consecutively from the lowest level upward. Also, once a level is acquired, it will not decrease.

Viewing Manuals

The manuals in a Curriculum can be reviewed as Text or audio. Once you have read to the end, the manual becomes "Viewed" and counts toward the achievement conditions.

Comprehension Test

If a Curriculum includes a Comprehension test, you must take and pass it.

The Passing condition is that the number of correct answers meets or exceeds the passing score, and you Answer all required questions correctly. You do not need to Pass with all answers correct
Unanswered questions are treated as incorrect
A passed test cannot be retaken
If you fail, depending on the skill settings, a waiting period may be set. During the waiting period, the status will show "Waiting to retake," and you will be informed of the date when you can next take the test

Acquiring a Skill

Once all achievement conditions are met, you can acquire the skill via the "Acquire Skill" button. Upon acquisition, EXP is awarded. EXP is determined by the skill's difficulty and level — the higher the difficulty and the higher the level, the greater the EXP.

Approval Request

For levels where approval is included in the achievement conditions, you select an approver and submit an Approval request.

Approver candidates are those with approval authority who belong to your Organization or its parent organizations. Depending on the Group settings, candidates may be selected automatically or narrowed down to one level up in the organization
Once approved, you can acquire the level
If the request is declined (sent back), you can check the reason for the decline via the notification. The skill remains in progress, so you can submit again
Even if your organization changes after submission, approval or decline will still be processed

How to Submit a Request

Submit from "Request Skill Acquisition" on the Skill Details screen. A screen to select an approver will open, with candidates listed by organization. Check the box and press "Submit" to send the request. Multiple approvers can be selected.

Once submitted, the Skill Details screen will show "Skill Acquisition Request Pending," and "Show QR Code" and "Withdraw request" will be displayed.

Getting Certified via QR Code

If you are meeting with an approver in person, you can also use "Show QR Code" to display a QR code for the approver to scan. The screen will display "Please scan from the Trainers' device."

This button is only displayed when a request is pending. It does not appear on the Skill Details screen before submitting a request.
