Positions and Employment Types are masters set as user attributes. This article summarizes the specifications for these and User Settings.
Overview
Positions and Employment Types are used for the following two purposes.
- User attributes…One position and one Employment Type are set per user.
- Skill distribution conditions…You can narrow down the Audience of a skill Folder to "only users with this position or this employment type."
Specifications
Positions and Employment Types
- Names can be up to 200 characters, and descriptions can be up to 1,000 characters.
- The list displays the number of Members who belong to each position or Employment Type.
- The list is sorted in ascending order by name.

- Employee number
- Hire date
- Organization
- Position
- Employment Type
- Role
The name, display name, and Account ID are referenced from Teachme Biz's User Information and cannot be edited on the Teachme MySkill side. Please make changes in Teachme Biz's user management.
When a role cannot be changed
The following Messages may appear and prevent you from changing a role.
- This change would leave the group with no user who can edit settings.…This is displayed when you are the only user with the role to edit settings in the Group and you try to lower your own role. Please first grant the role to edit settings to another user.
- This role cannot be assigned from user settings.…For operational reasons, there are roles that cannot be assigned from the User Settings screen.
