In Teachme MySkill, the features available to users differ depending on the role (permission) assigned to them. This article provides an overview of each role and a summary of which operations are permitted for each feature.
Types of Roles (Permissions)
Teachme MySkill has the following 6 types of roles.

| Owner | A role automatically granted to Group administrators and Sub-administrators in Teachme Biz. All features are available. |
| System Admin | A role for configuring system-wide settings such as managing organizations and users. Cannot create skills, qualifications, or tests, or approve other users. |
| Operation Admin | An operations-oriented role that allows creating and configuring skills, qualifications, and tests, as well as performing approvals. |
| Approver | A role for approving other users' skills and qualifications. Cannot edit settings or create skills. |
| General User | A role for progressing through one's own skill learning. Cannot approve others or use administrative features. Since login to the admin screen (web screen) is not available, please use the Teachme Player app. |
| Onboarding / BPO User | A role for onboarding and BPO operations. In addition to Operation Admin permissions, can also configure Level Label Settings and approval settings. |
Users without an assigned role are treated as General Users.

Additional Notes
*1 Only own progress can be operated
General Users and System Admin users can only operate their own learning progress. They cannot perform or approve progress on behalf of other users.
*2 Self-approval is prohibited
For all roles, users cannot approve skills or qualifications that they themselves have submitted for approval. Approvals must always be performed by a separate user with approval permissions.
*3 Uploads are restricted to the individual
Uploading qualification evidence images can only be done by the individual themselves, regardless of role. Even users with approval permissions cannot upload on behalf of other users.
*4 Performing skill learning on behalf of others is not available
The operation of progressing through skill learning is restricted to the individual themselves, regardless of role. For qualification and Quests progress, users with approval permissions can perform these operations on behalf of others.
△ Scope of the Skill Map for Approvers
The Skill Map for Approvers is limited in scope as follows.
- The scope is limited to members belonging to the user's own Organization and its Descendant organizations (excluding themselves) only
- The skills displayed are limited to published skills that have been distributed to the Approver themselves
- The Employment Type column is not displayed
Viewing and Downloading Qualification Images
Certificate images can be viewed by the individual and the approver responsible for their application. Only Operation Admin users can download them; Approvers can only view them.
About the Owner Role
The Owner role is automatically granted to users who have Group administrator or Group sub-administrator permissions in Teachme Biz. There is no need to configure this individually in Teachme MySkill. Owners have access to all features.
About Determining Approvers
When an Approval request is submitted for a skill or qualification, users with approval permissions (Operation Admin, Approver, Onboarding / BPO User) who belong to the same organization as the applicant or a higher-level organization are selected as approver candidates.
The following settings can be configured in the Group's "Approval Settings".
- Automatically select the approver… When enabled, an approver is automatically selected at the time of submission
- Limit approvers to one organization level above… When enabled, the approvers available for selection at the time of submission are restricted to the applicant's own Organization and the one level above it
