There are two Group-wide settings that are recommended to be decided before starting operations. Both are configured by System Admin.
Level Display Labels
You can change the labels displayed for skill levels. The defaults are as follows.
- Lv.1… Aware
- Lv.2… Can do with support
- Lv.3… Can do alone
- Lv.4… Can teach others
If you would like to align these with your company's grades or terminology, please change them accordingly. Any level left blank will display the default label.
Approval Settings
Determines how approvers are selected during an Approval request.
- Automatically select the approver… When turned on, an approver is automatically selected at the time of submission. This is useful when you do not want users to be uncertain about who to submit to.
- Limit approvers to one organization level above… When turned on, the selectable approvers are narrowed down to the submitter's Organization and the one directly above it. This is useful when the organizational hierarchy is deep and approval requests tend to concentrate on upper-level members.
These two settings work independently. Both can be turned on at the same time.
