In the approval settings, you can now narrow down approval candidates and notification recipients to the applicant's Organization or one level up. Even in operations with many higher-level organizations, approval requests can be limited to an appropriate scope.
Configure this setting from "Restrict organizations that can be designated as approvers" on the approval settings page. The default is off, and existing approval candidates and notification recipients remain unchanged.
